Cytus raises $2.25M from Nyca Partners, Agya Ventures, Relay Ventures, Eniac Ventures, Wilson Hill Ventures, Gambit Partners and InfoTokenDAO.
Cytus, a protocol tokenizing commercial real estate debt, bringing sustainable yield to the blockchain, has closed a $2.25 million seed round led by Nyca Partners, Agya Ventures, Relay Ventures, Eniac Ventures, Wilson Hill Ventures, and Gambit Partners and InfoTokenDAO.
Cytus is the first BridgeFi protocol allowing investors to obtain ownership of US treasury bonds legally without off ramping their funds from the blockchain. Launched in November 2022, the project offers two liquid fixed income pools: a 5–6% yield real estate debt pool, and a 2–3% yield U.S. Treasury bond pool.
The sister company Robinland, founded in 2021, aims to bridge the gap between traditional and digital finance. The four founders of Cytus, from different backgrounds, came together to found the protocol last year with the same vision to bring quality fixed income products to the blockchain.
